Deluge



"This job will be the final one, it's simple and the only option. Let's teach him a lesson, the one last lesson."

(Hillside)

"Lived a life of my dreams and leisure and this life provided me with everything I wanted and achieved everything in a snap of a finger, a tyrant life may I say? and still, I don't feel big" I said as I threw a pebble down the hill, it was pitch black and the whole city was silent in the night as everyone can hear a pebble rolling down the cliff. Kan smiled and raised his one arm pointing towards the sky, filled with stars and his arm focused the brightest one, and with the other hand patted me in the back and he said: "You may have become the brightest stars among everyone who lived, yet you say you lack the suffice to be one." I remained silent as he continued "I saw the potential in you when the very first moment I saw you and I know you are perfect." I disagreed and wrong nodded "I was perfect at nothing and perfection itself is just a mist by my chapters." he walked back to his car saying: "Were you always bad at acting or it is something which is not in you?" I laughed as he got in the car and waved at me continued "Learn to act or the brightest star in your life will disappear forever." and at a quick phase he throttled and moved away in bullet speed. Even comets are slower compared to him.


Present day

(Counsellor office)

"Just 3 years passed and how many stories you've got within it?" the doctor asked "how many is too many" I poked him. He continued "So did you learn, learn to act well?" I smiled and leaned back on the cushion, resting my arm firmly and replied "Doing good for now." He gazed at me and then suddenly switched his sight to a photo frame consisting of a green snake on a desert which was hanging just above me on the wall. He dropped his pen down leaned forward on me and asked: "When did all the trouble start?" as I knew where he was getting at I wanted him to be more specific and I insisted him to be so he cleared his throat and asked, "What happened to Vareos?" I held my grip and answered, "He disappeared in the midst of the shooting session and never came back, many tried to find him yet none succeeded" as I drank the water from the table and wiped myself I continued "Many speculated rumours spread like he travelled to a far land, drunk himself to death or even few conspiring that he was captured by aliens" as I stopped and saw him staring at a frame's backside as the photo faced me which contained a photo capture of a water deluge, he firmly said "I need no rumours or conspiracies, we are here to speak the truth " as I flipped to show the picture to him and asked him a question "What do you believe in?" as I stood up and paid him the fee and said "I've learnt acting in the shortest time possible and nothing but the scenarios I was in helped me achieved it" as I drank the remaining water in the glass I continued "Yes I am good at it and it is inside me now." He looked at me and then turned towards the window which had a magnificent view of the city. He replied stating: "Vareos is dead, the cause and the murderer are unknown." I smiled and left the room closing the door from the other side as I heard the glass shatter down in the floor and the green snake turned red.
